I may be crazy, but I just ordered Marisol's Whole World. I was not going to get Marisol but her outfit's are so cute. It is so very expensive finding retired items on eBay. I just don't want to go thought that on another doll. I thought just bite the bullet and get everything at once. I so hope everything arrives perfect. What is funny, I don't have any room for her. So for awhile she will have to live in her boxes.

Truly I am tired of paying so much on eBay for retired items. I was so upset that AG had Kirsten's plaid dress and shawl retired before I got it. I was working on picking up retired items on eBay then I was going to get the rest of the collections from AG.

I was luck that I had already gotten Molly's dress that they retired.

I don't know how these eBay sellers find out ahead of time what is going to be retired. But I do know they buy a load of the items and then rake in the money on eBay.

Congratulations on your purchase.
I have Marisol and her two ballet outfits- but she and the pink leotard are my christmas presents, so I haven't seen them yet.

I don't know how ebay sellers do it, unless it's just pure speculation and research on past trends. I've just accepted I can't have it all, and don't pay high prices.

This is why I don't care much for Ebay. Lol, I know, I know, a ton of people here love it! But for me, it's a combination of the prices, the fear that an item advertised as "mint" won't be, and the occasional doubt whether or not it's truly authentic makes me stay away. I prefer to buy things directly from AG. If it gets retired before I have a chance to get it, then I generally do without.

I think you'll be glad that you went ahead and bought Marisol's World new from AG. Even though it's a lot to spend at once, it'll sure save you a lot of money down the road. So don't worry, be happy!

I called AG this week about Kristen's plaid dress and shawl and they are sending me one. Why don't you try calling? They will tell you they can't promise anything, but mine actually shipped today!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">AHHHH! I called AG about this a couple of weeks ago and they told me they were all out. I just paid a bit too much for one on ebay! That is so frustrating. I think that I am going to call again and see what they say.

How cool that you're getting Marisol's Whole World! Yes! I don't have Marisol's newest items - the Spotlight Outfit, Tiara and revolving Stage. I hope to get the Spotlight outfit before it sells out. I'll probably pass on the stage though. Does anyone have the stage? Is it worth the price?

The stage reminds me too much of those funky spinning Christmas tree stands back in the 60's. My great aunt and uncle had a little Christmas tree on one and my sisters and I thought it was so funny to see a spinning tree! It had a variable speed and I never saw the spin set to other speeds but I guessed the ornaments would fly off if it were turned to high speed! I'm assuming Marisol doesn't spin that fast.

I have regrets that I never bought Kailey. I won't make that same mistake with Marisol. You won't regret getting her & her stuff.

You are so lucky to of gotten the Plaid Dress from AG. I did call them and ask if I could order it. I was told that it was retired and could not get it. Maybe I should of called the New York store. You are so lucky. Maybe that is how these outfits keep coming up for bid on ebay. Which store did you get your dress from?
